About Jennifer Baer
1st Grade Teacher
Jennifer lives in Oxnard with her husband and two daughters. When not in the classroom, she loves to run, watch the Dodgers, and hang out with her family.
She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Psychology from UCLA and a multiple subject teaching credential from CSUN. Jennifer has been teaching first grade at Cornerstone since 2001. She feels that first grade is the best grade to teach, and can’t imagine teaching any other grade. She also appreciates first grade as the year where students really take off with reading and math.
Jennifer feels so blessed to be a part of this wonderful school family, in a place where children will not only learn in a caring and safe place, but also grow in their faith. She loves that she can share her faith and point children to our awesome Creator in each and every subject.
Psalm 139 reminds her that God knows her, loves her, and will always be with her, and wants each of her students to feel this kind of love and know that God delights in them and treasures them equally as much.
