Mrs. Colleen Brewer

Mrs. Brewer is the Principal, moving into administration after eight years in a 5th grade classroom. She has been in education for over twenty years. Before living in Camarillo, she had been a principal/teacher in a Christian school in Victoria, British Columbia. She loves children and enjoys the opportunity to build a caring community. Mrs. Brewer has a passion for mission work. When she first went to Canada, she and her family worked in Saskatchewan with the indigenous people where they established churches on Reserves. She has also had the opportunity to spend summers in Zambia, Africa mentoring teachers in rural communities and working in the classrooms with the students. Today Mrs. Brewer feels that her "mission" is at Cornerstone where she has the opportunity to minister to the students providing a nurturing environment with her staff with a curriculum to meet the needs of all students setting high standards to achieve the students' greatest potential. Her heart is to see all the children come to the knowledge of the love of Jesus Christ, find peace with God through the cross of Christ, and become strong confident young people equipped to face the challenges of the world in an ever changing society.
